Description

Edit: new pics coming today radiator relocated to front.

This build and it went smooth as hell. NZXT gear is pretty much drop in and plug up. MSI mobo just has an EZ button to OC the 6600k to 4.1ghz. I left the PNY Anarchy's sitting right at 2400 had no problem getting advertised speed just plugging them in, over the original 8 gigs of geil evo the PNY's are a huge improvement . I'd say the biggest pain was deciding where to put all the fans which keep my CPU @ 28 resting 35 @ top end gaming. I used 200mm front lower 140mm front upper. the two silverstone beasts one on the bottom pulling and one on swivel. 140mm rear exhuast. Added two NZXT 120mm on top for push&pull config, and those two 45cfm 120s up top drop my cpu temps about 5-6degrees.

Edit:

Running Witcher 3 with all post processing on high at 60fps steady no drops belpw 58fps @1080p HD. Ran 8 hour play session and these are results so far. GPU Sitting around 30% 1800 clock speed 40 degree range. CPU arouund 80-90% 30 degree range. With V sync on

EDIT 2: Jet.com EVGA 650 GX burnt out in about a week I wouldn't suggest ordering clearance items from them. Replaced with what u see now. Moved radiator to the front. Cougar 140mm Fans pushing Silverstones on quiet mode in pull position. 140mm NZXT exhaust on top, Cooler Master 140mm exhaust in back and other on swivel. NZXT 120mm Pulling from bottom. Temps on everything dropped significantly CPU dropped 10 degrees idle and at load. GPU about 5 degrees both ways.

Edit 3 w/Pics: Used MSI Afterburner to get the GPU numbers listed added Unique Bargains 80-90mm Three Fan Mount Rack PC Cooling PCI Slot Bracket Set for Video Card and 2 Rosewill RFA-80-BL - 80mm to it to bring down the GPU Temp. as you can see in the pics. The GPU during bench marking was getting above 50c now with cooler doesn't hit above about 47. Follow this guide for OC'ing the GPU and reccommend it to anyone with MSI Mobo or MSI Afterburner and a Samsung based 1060. Also have the i5 up to 4.4ghz. Runs like. A dreeam.

Part Reviews

CPU Cooler

top 3 coolers in the world consistently when tested keeps my 6600k oc'd to 4.1 sitting at 28c.

Thermal Compound

works

Motherboard

Love it in everyway. the utilities do everything you could ever want. There is 2 CPU fan and 3 SYS fan slots. Drive slots are innumerable. great great mobo. Easy install best utilities. has lots of new 3.1 USB's. 6.0 satas everything in between. Built in 7.1 soundcard.

Memory

Far superior to the original 8gb of Geil Evo, lifetime warranty and their blue and black matches everything. I was amazed at the increase in boot speeds. They don't accept easy button OC'ing "xml1 or 2" but they can be pushed with the bios but I left them at stock speed.

Storage

Amazing, light, small, screws included, speeds great. price cant be beat.
