Description

My personal updated rig, originally build last November using soft tubing although I've been holding off posting till doing some rigid tubing. I've never had so much fun building a PC and I'm extremely happy with the result. Wasn't without it's fair share of bending issues but it's good experience :)

Watercooling specs:

  • EK Supremacy EVO X99 CPU Waterblock Full Nickel
  • EK Full Cover VGA Block EK-FC R9 Fury X Nickel + EK-FC R9 Fury X Backplate - Black
  • PrimoChill Revolver Compression Fittings 1/2" OD - Diamond Knurled Grip - 1/2" OD - Nickel Plated Brass - Black-Silver
  • PrimoChilll 1/2" Rigid Acrylic Tube - Clear
  • Alphacool NexXxoS ST30 Full Copper 240mm x2 ((Waiting on EK Coolstream XE 360mm Radiator + EK Coolstream XE 240mm Radiators to replace these for 2 AMD Polaris cards when they're released))

Nice build. Question though: Why do you have your bottom rad fighting convection?

Nice work buddy. +1

But yes how comes your bottom fans are exhausting air out the case? I would imagine they would be slightly more effective in pulling in cooler air rather then exhausting?

I've always done it like that, I've got 4 intake fans pulling in cool air and 4 exhaust fans pushing out the hot radiated air from the case. I thought everybody did it like this hahaha >_<

You are making me itch to feature-creep my way into water cooling, sir.
