Whoa, nice mods! What are your VRAM temps with the G10?

+1, love it.

Vram is normal bc the custom plate that came with the gpu cooling the whole chipset.

I actually like blue but my last build was very blue so I switch it up.

Looks good, but why not split out the 240x to the GPU too?

I wasn't gonna put in another gpu and it cost a lot more if I go that route.

I think they meant why not use the swiftech to cool CPU & GPU, it's expandable so there the option to use a GPU water block and extra rad if needed.

I didnt want to spend more than I have to and plus this option is cheaper. I was thinking to expand this later down the road when the next gen GPU come out.

Why only 4 stars on the motherboard?

The mobo is not really as beast as the cost.

So This Is The H240x and not the H220x? lol I've been trying to find out what size to get since I have OCD like Crazy And I want it to fit perfectly in the case just like yours so it won't be too big where it starts to cut off. Nice Build!

H240X and H220X fit in this case. I got both to test when I build this.

So Which Swiftech Model Is The One On Your First Pic? Might Be Confusing But I'll explain, I know both fit but what I want to know if the swiftech h240 will be too big where it starts to cut off where the window ends, Ahah might seem stupid but it's my OCD XD, well like your first pic you can perfectly see it without it being too big it cuts off by like an inch or two.

No the 240 is wider not longer. It wont cut off.

To save money, I would buy one 2x8 GB set of modules instead of two 2x4 kits.

But 4x4 uses all the memory channels, instead of 2

  • 1 point

That's my point. If you buy 2x8, you have more room for upgrades, especially since this motherboard supports 32 GB. It also saves quite some money.

What I meant was, won't using all the memory channels be faster?

  • 1 point

There really isn't much real performance difference.

Only if you render and video editing which I do but these is good for what it is since this is a semi work machine.
