This works really well. IF i went back, i wouldve chosen a better set of the same corsair memory, DDR3-1800 or higher, because the OC capabilities of the 1600 are not great. Other than that, it works like a dream.
At that price I would've just gotten a single 780 and SLI down the road when prices were much lower.
That being said this is a great build and will tear up anything you throw at it haha
Very nice +1
Thanks! Yeah, i probably shouldve done that, now that i think about it.
Agreed, thank you. I would also say that i skimped on the power supply, and it was almost not enough (took some jury rigging a bunch of extra connectors together to get enough 8 pins for everything) and the monitor (its good, i like it, but its an older model, doesnt even have an hdmi port). Everything else is fantastic. Running stock processor clock i have a 7.9/8.0 windows experience index. Overclocked itsa. Clean 8/8, and it runs fairly stable with the low (3.7ghz) overclock.
Well, honestly, I hardly ever check my PC Part Picker account unless I need to look something up. :P
i agree with rynesmith, but this is quite a setup, i recommend looking into a 1200p or 1440p monitor to compliment the 760's
very nice build. could you post some more pics please. +1
I guess, but not until I upgrade.
Great build. Highly recommend psu be changed. Maybe a ax860. Has a nice rail
Agreed. This PSU hardly supports what I have in here, took some heavy duty jury rigging to power the SLI cards. It's unfortunate, really... Well, when I upgrade that will be on the list. Probably not for another few months though.
Sure any day of the week.
