Description

My first build!!! I use this for gaming and programming. Currently playing The Witcher 3 with max graphics. It runs great!

Thoughts...

CPU Cooler: I bought the Cooler Master V8 cpu cooler a couple of months after building this pc. Mistake... If you want this cooler, it's great! Buuuuut, it is a real pain to install after the motherboard is already in the case. If it's a must have for you, get it right away!!!

Bluray: If you get a bluray player remember you need to buy software separately to actually play blurays. I got Nero 2014 for $15, but normally that software will run you $50. Also, you cannot play bluray movies through DVI. You need HDMI, VGA or DisplayPort. So keep that in mind if bluray is important to you.

Epic Case: The Storm Trooper case is amazing. I'm really happy a spent the extra coin. The steel frame with hand is super convenient and the 4 case fans it comes with keeps it nice and cool. The LED fans come pointing out the side, but you can face them towards the front if you want. (I did, it looks better.)

Great parts and great build. I can only imagine what it is like to wrestle with that big boy of a cooler you have in there. I'm certain Lord Vader would be pleased with it. You just make sure he never force chokes you with whatever could displease him. :) +1

holy crap you actually bought that Cooler Master V8. that this is massive! as soon as i saw that on newegg i fell into with the pure gargantuan-ness of it . it just sucks that it has the one little wire on it that you can never manage to... manage.

I zip tied it to one of the heat bars lol, or it would have been jammed up in the Storm Trooper's top fan.

Have the same GPU. Great job here. Photos and presentation are great. Still enjoying your rig?
