FractalHD 1 point 29 months ago

it doesn't even look like your water cooling your cards

towerdivermp 3 points 29 months ago

It's pretty sick how he was able to keep the fans on, along with a waterblock for that super sick look. And he hard-tubed it!

MjolnirThunder 3 points 29 months ago

Those particular cards actually have water cooling options built in like that so they're plug-and-play without needing to add a separate water block.

towerdivermp 1 point 29 months ago

Yeah, just found out about the posiden card lineup, thanks!

Blacksm1le submitter 1 Build 1 point 29 months ago

Asus Poseidon watercooling is integrated to the card Thank you for your vote http://www.asus.com/Graphics-Cards/POSEIDON-GTX980TI-P-6GD5/

C0RSA1R 1 Build 1 point 29 months ago

Exquisite build! Not just the tower, but every single thing in your desk setup is on point down to cable management. Clearly a lot of time and dedication has gone into this. Great work and deserving of a feature.

Blacksm1le submitter 1 Build 1 point 29 months ago

4 days working and thank you for your vote

H3rr3gud 3 Builds 1 point 29 months ago

Very impressive! Are all fans controlled by MB? And where do you get the power cable separators?

Blacksm1le submitter 1 Build 1 point 29 months ago

one fan is powered by the motherboard for radiator powered by Asus Fan Extension Card and thank you for your vote (http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813995054)

WirelessCables 1 Build 1 point 29 months ago

Seems no one's noticed the carbon fiber wrap behind the motherboard and on the 5.25" drive slots yet...

So here's a +1

Blacksm1le submitter 1 Build 1 point 29 months ago

thank you

WirelessCables 1 Build 1 point 29 months ago

Sure. Craftsmanship = +1 for me. =-)

Cosmo_Canyon 1 Build 1 point 29 months ago

Perfect build.Well done. I'd like to see how you managed to keep the coolers on the gpus. You have a lot of unnecessary pictures showing the same thing.Maybe it would be better to show some pictures of the build process or the custom work you did.

Well done again :D

Cosmo_Canyon 1 Build 1 point 29 months ago

Mason54 25 Builds 1 point 29 months ago

The 1080ti most likely won't have HBM but still GDDR5X. Though the AMD fury does have HBM and is awesome.

Nice build and great use of the integrated water cooling in those GPU's

Blacksm1le submitter 1 Build 1 point 29 months ago

I not sure if the GTX 1080Ti gonna have memory HBM2 and thank you for the info

WTFLLama 1 Build 1 point 29 months ago

Yahtadi 1 point 29 months ago

I dont understand. Those GPU are in waterblock right? how do you manage to still put air cooler(fans, heat pipe) on it? and what is that for.. Regardless aesthetic of course?

crookz_n_castlez 6 Builds 1 point 29 months ago

That's how those gpu are made. ASUS are the only company (that I know of) that make gpu cards like that. It's meant for people who want to use the gpu on air but are planning on upgrading to water cooling in the future. More companies should take this approach...

Yahtadi 1 point 29 months ago

Wuow! How thick is that card? 3 slot? Are those card any cool sir? How temps?

AnAngrySamaritan 1 Build 1 point 29 months ago

I'm usually not a fan of hyper-expensive, over-the-top builds. I'm also not a fan of red themed "gamer" builds. HOWEVER, this looks awesome! In the future, I hope to be in a place where I can build hard-line PC, not to unsimilar to this! Great Build and looking forward to the 1080ti Update!

Blacksm1le submitter 1 Build 1 point 29 months ago

nice to see another ROG fanboy. lol. how good is the ROG claymore, I heard it was a good keyboard but I need to decide between that and the K95 RGB Platinum from Corsair. +1 cable management.

Gets a $240 sound card. Uses a $180 headset instead of a high quality sennheiser HD598 SE with a modmic for 100x better both mic and sound quality. Good build tho +1

Blacksm1le submitter 1 Build 1 point 22 months ago

Sennheiser G4MEZERO Closed Design = Exceptional quality music and games (https://en-us.sennheiser.com/game-zero) ASUS ESSENCE STX II = Nothing better on the market I added 3 Supreme Sound Opamp V5i Burson Audio (https://www.bursonaudio.com/products/supreme-sound-opamp-v5i/) Audioengine A5+ Powered Speakers = A bit pricey but worth the price the quality of the sound is very well detailed I am very satisfied (http://audioengineusa.com/Store/Powered-Speaker-Systems/A5-plus-Powered-Speakers) (http://audioengineusa.com/Store/Subwoofers/S8-Powered-Subwoofer) Speaker Cables (http://www.audioquest.com/bridges-falls/golden-gate) Here is my configuration for hi-fi sound
