Description

My first amd build for games and movies mostly. Still adding on to this. Fans and nzxt hue not installed quite yet. Pics coming as soon as they are. Did 2 builds simultaneously the other is an intel.

2/9 added the nzxt fan controller and 3 purple neon fans.

Part Reviews

CPU

Great speed and price for a 8core processor. Able to handle most games and photo editing or anything else I do

CPU Cooler

Good cooler and pretty easy to install. Only thing I don't like about this is the hoses are incredibly stiff and tough to deal with.

Motherboard

Overall great motherboard good support for CPU and gpu. Only supports ddr3 which kinda sucks. It I can live with it. Plenty of fan plugins

Storage

Nice cheap ssd for your operating system. Plenty of speed

Video Card

Plenty of power for the price. Has no trouble playing most games on high settings. Looks pretty cool as well

Case

This case's looks are awesome. The one side has a huge glass panel and the other has the hexagon top. Lots of space in the case and plenty of fan support. Only thing is the small cut outs for wire management but it worked out pretty well

Sabertooth 990FX R2.0.

I like where you're going with this.

It's almost the same place I went.

Nice build.

Ok, now we have something. That case is very nice, it doesn't appear to allow for a tidy build though. Is wire tending difficult in it? I really like the PSU and radiator placement option.

Honestly the wire management isn't that bad on it for the most part. I just need a little more time I think. The psu placement is awesome except for the small opening for cable management lol.

cabling could use some work but other than that, A+
