Description

So this was my first build, in fact my first real desktop computer at all. It has worked well since I got it, the total cost was a hair over $800 due to needing to replace a bad motherboard (the one listed is the second one I got, the first was totally dead). The fan has been removed and now the computer is whisper silent. I run Linux Ubuntu and see the system up and ready in around 10 seconds. Gaming is wonderful, I only have a 720p monitor at the moment but will upgrade shortly.

I know the cable management is not that great, but I did what I could with the case which seems fairly limited. I'm going to run some stress tests shortly and will update them once they're complete!

Should have gotten the 6300 and used the couple of dollars saved towards a better cooler. Also, you could have done better on the HDD for that price.

I wanted the 6350 because I didn't want to OC at this point, the cooler is amazing. It's whisper quiet and I haven't gone above 40?. The hard drive is actually cheaper because it was on sale when I got it but I'm not sure by how much, I believe it was only $60

you can change the prices yourself to reflect real prices. This helps people decide on whether a build is good or not for the money.
