nicely done. how does that wireless adapter work for you?

Pretty good, it has a great range. I'm about 45ft from the router and I get 25-35mbps out of 45mbps.

Will actually be changing the board out with a ASUS MAXIMUS VII HERO soon.

If this is a gaming build I don't understand the choice of the i7 over something like the i5. In gaming applicvatins there is nearly no difference and you could have gotten something like a 780

hpopper301 submitter 4 Builds 1 point 59 months ago

I had an i5 before but moved to an i7 for hyperthreading and overall better performance, and at the time I bought the 770 it was around the bitcoin mess so 780s were horribly overpriced. I am going to sli my 770 once I get my new mobo.

Hyper threading is useful for 3D animating etc. it will prbably give almost no performance difference for gaming

I'm also using it for editing videos, but mainly gaming.

Yeah I guess if you had a good price it is ok but I don't know. Anyway hope you have fun with the build!
