Description

My Grandma bought me the parts for my birthday. I just now got it working since i forgot to hook up the restart pin.

It performs very well, I get a avg of 90 fps in War Thunder with all graphics turned on max. It stays very cool with the stock cooler. When i did use the cooler i bought it didn't fit all the way, when I did use it the temps went up to 90 degrees.

Thank you

Just a question, do you play games other than War Thunder? It seems a bit overkill to have an i5-8400 and a 1060 just for War Thunder

I would suspect it can handle a game like monster hunter that just got released for PC like a champ at 1080p.

I do a lot of stuff in Roblox Studio where there are about 10,000 parts moving so i needed a good CPU. I got the GPU because it had 6GB, it had 3 fans and it looked cool.

Lmao Roblox Studio. No hate, but you could've gotten a 1060 that's cheaper if you're not intent on using it for mainly gaming. ROG Strix is pretty good as well though

Oh

Yeah, to be honest, you would be perfectly fine with a 1060 3gb and an i-3 8100. You would be reaching 60 fps on war thunder.

Themtwitchsweg 1 point 2 months ago

But if you ever get into a more graphic intensive game you will be ready for it so I guess your gucci.

The only thing that could get you more fps now without spending too much more money is putting rgb in there.
