Description

Here is a look at my first ever computer build, I had some "minor" issues along the way during assembly, that I would like to mention for anyone considering a build similar to this one!

Everything was/is great, but I would like to talk about some things that didn't go so well!

--Here were some incompatibility issues I had!

The NZXT Kraken X62 CPU Cooler doesn't fit perfectly on this TUF MB, as the CPU block's water connections rub against the RAM, it actually slightly pushes the left most RAM stick into the ones on the right to fit, but the build has been running for months now, and I have had zero issues. So perhaps one should go with a different MOBO when trying to run this CPU cooler, or vice versa.

If you do get another MOBO, I would definitely get one that has the latest USB, as this case has USB-C connections that I am unable to utilize with this MOBO, also make sure the other MOBO you get has enough space for fans to connect to! I had to utilize daisy chain on Kraken CPU Cooler to get all my fans hooked up! (Think 6 fans other than CPU cooler, that is kind of a lot.)

This case is meant for Custom Water Cooling Loops! I want to one day change my current set-up into a custom loop which is why I got the case, however with this fan set-up there are some gaps I filled in to make sure the air is pushed/pulled through the fans and there isn't too much static entry/exit points on the case. Take an extra look at the measurements of the NZXT radiator and think about what you want to do with the left over space, or maybe get a CPU cooler that has a radiator that will take up the entire upper space of the case.

--Here are my gripes/recommendations!

The case is gorgeous but kind of a punk to close, and when I say "kind of" I mean I wanted to throw it out the window. Avoid opening this case.

These fans look so great and are so quiet, I highly recommend them.

The GPU is perfect, and it kicks some major graphical ***.

CPU is a little overkill, but it's cool because I want to run sooo much stuff sometimes and I never have to worry.

Monitor is bae, highly recommend! I got lucky with the silly-cone lottery, only one slight leak in the bottom right corner!
