hey, i have the same mobo as you but a gtx 1080 sc, did you find that although the gpu fits in and work fine that it is uncomfortable tight as the card near the inner io plate pushes against the armour casing of the motherboard? i had this problem and wondered if its just me? it seems crazy that asus would let this board be developed like this. thanks, pete

I love your build man! Just a few questions, how is your graphics card holding up heat/performance wise, and are you seeing any drooping? Also, what are you using to control the RGB LEDs?

Thanks :}

Hi dude! Thanks for your kind words!

  1. FE is a very good card, low temps and high clocks, i can OC it to 2.1ghz and i don´t have any drooping, it´s very stable. Just one thing, it´s little noisy...

  2. I have the deepcool 350 RGB, with it, you can control only one color at time for the two led strips, so i connect the second led strip to my ROG MOBO and control it with aura software, i can have different colors that way.

I didn't see any comments asking this, but I did scroll quickly. Why did you go with a 6500 and not a 6600k or 6700k? You payed a heafty amount of money in that z170 mobo and AIO and ur not getting anything out of it. Love the build though jealous AF.

I would wait till the line of processors come out from Intel Kabylake is what I think they are called. They use LGA1151 so you won't have to swap the motherboard. The only thing I am unsure of is when they will come out probably another 5 months so it all depends on how long u want to wait.
