My current rig for 3D modeling and gaming. The FX-6300 6-core CPU is an amazing cpu for the price and will give me enough juice to play any game combined with the GTX970 from ASUS. The CPU is overclocked to 4.5 GHz and it's at 1.4v and it's being cooled by an Enermax LiqTech 240 closed loop cooler. The fans on the radiator that come with the cooler are quiet and move alot of air, very pleased. For the motherboard I have a Gigabyte GA-970A-D3P board, it has massive heatsinks and a nice layout to it. The VRM's are cooled by the stock fan from the stock heatsink twist tied onto the VRM heatsink to cool the VRM's ( I rather have them survive than bake :) ). My memory is from Corsair and it's an 8GB kit consisting of 2x4GB modules with nice heatsinks that are quite tall but they fit right in, I have overclocked the RAM from 1600 to 1866. The PSU is actually a Corsair CX750, but apparently pcpartpicker didn't have it on the list so that's that. For storage I have an 120gb 840 EVO from Samsung and a WD Green HDD with 500gb of space. Everything is housed in a Define R4 from Fractal Design which is a magnificent case, it has enough room between the back panel and motherboard tray to properly cable manage and hide everything and also it looks good.
