Description

Most of the selected were purchased through NewEgg or in local stores during some kind of sale/deal. Actual price was around 1300 all said and done. Those Fractal 92mm fans are QUIET. Only issue overall was a tight CPU clamp... and cable management. Mouse was a Black Edition DetAdd and KeyBoard is a Ducky DK9087G2 PRO TKLwith Cherry Blacks.

EDIT: Just changed the cable routing slightly and went into the PSU and cut a few cables I didn't need.

I love that motherboard and this build is so neat, I'll melt. I'll seriously melt like a snowman and evaporate.

Nice build. Well done sir !

My build is quite similar but your cable management is smarter and much more efficient !

Hiding and securing the SSD in the front panel cover is a touch of genius !

Appreciate it! I was wandering how to get rid of that middle bar and in doing so really opened it up. No more then one ssd can fit so be mindful, lol. I think I have a spot for a 2nd one when the time comes...

When you say that you "cut" a few cables. Does that mean you little took a scissors and cut them then put electric tape over the exposed wires?

Hot glued the end of each one and taped/zip-tied the ends. If I was going to do it I'm going to over do it. Posted a new pic for you.

I secured it in the front panel that covers the intake dust screens and power/usb.3 cables/ports.

Was thinking about building a rig similar to yours. Would there be enough room to accommodate a Fractal Design Newton R3 600W modular PSU as opposed the the one you currently have in the setup above; with all the same components as well? The difference being about an inch wider on the side with the Fractal logo.
