For gaming and schoolwork.
+1 for the mouse pad
Nice, we also got the same speakers
I love these speakers
So do i, they are plenty loud enough without turning it all the way to max and the subwoofer has a nice oomph to it when watching movies
Im glad they're loud enough to play over the sound of my case fans. These Rosewill case fans are the loudest things on the planet.
Why no switch them out for different fans? Like the Cougar Pwm ones? I hear they are pretty quiet
i gotta get the wife to let me spend more money.
The build is good, but I'm more impressed by that room gawd damn
Does this build run games well? Thinking about doing a very similar build for myself.
Sorry, I didn't see your response until now. Are you still in market to build? Or have you ordered stuff already?
Not a bad first build. Personally, I would have chosen a unlocked CPU and maybe a R9 290X. Definitely consider a bigger CPU cooler in the future. Nice pictures and cables also! +1
A lot of people don't have the money for either of those. That would've been an extra $200, with average performance gains. This PC is pretty much as bang for the buck as it comes. +1
True story, if I had more money, my build would have been more extravagant. Im very happy with what I got.
I see nothing in this build saying there is any sort of low budget. I can agree with you on sticking with the 290, but I see no point in a locked CPU. A 4670k is only 80 bucks more. That 80 goes a long way with an unlocked chip.
The 4590 was already a huge step up from the FX-6300 build I had started with. $900 is all the higher that my wife would let me go :(
The 4670k is the same chip as the 4590, just with an unlocked multiplier. And what help would the 4670k be on a H97 board? You need a Devil's Canyon chip to overclock.
