Description

Not to good at descriptions this is my first build and just went with it . Spent a few months picking threw parts and reading reviews everything runs great. . Any questions just ask!

The case is amazing I love it. It's huge and the fans are quiet on low and medium speeds high is kind of noisy has a built in fan speed control . Low med, and high not by rpms.

Mobo is nice but the oc genie in confusing considering there's no button on the mobo itself like the gaming 7 . So if you go into the app to turn it on the instructions say to press the button lol um kinda can't but idk maybe I'm blind .

The mouse was free with purchase of the mobo and I love it wish it had side buttons but it's fine without them . The button to switch between dpi settings is more useful then I thought . Playing a game use it on high dpi then in menus click it low so I don't click the wrong thing .

Ex- Skyrim lock picking setting it to low to be more steady with the lock pick

gpu and cooler is here. ill tell you what there is a 20 degree C diff from stock cooler nd this cooler master that i wouldnt have believed if i hadnt seen it with my own 2 eyes! and its super quiet going to get another fan for the other side sadly it only comes with one side. the way i set it up is the case pulls air right into that fan so its like

air -> | -> |

gpu is just perfect. quiet and super powerful. just going to update a few things here this weekend hope to be 100% done with cable management and drivers and software this weekend!

havnt got my ssd set up yet sadly my psu only came with enough cables for the cd writer and the hdd . hopefully getting more cords soon.

ordered some new case fans and will update pics when i get everything finished up!

Just bought the Benq 27" gaming monitor . I was in a big debate if it was worth the extra money for a 27" over the 24" I decided to go big or go home . So I'm waiting on Amazon to ship it . Hopefully it'll be amazing like I hear about!

Part Reviews

CPU Cooler

im giving it 5 stars because its quiet and efficient altho i wish it came with both sides of fans. my only "con" if you will.

Motherboard

beautiful and software is cool. wish it had a oc genie button.

Video Card

no coil whine, its cool quiet and runs everything at ultra that i threw at it so far doing a benchmark and stress test this weekend

Case

Great case could use better instructions for what cords are what though

Power Supply

It's cool it doesn't even turn on until 50% of it is being needed . Well the fan doesn't but I've never even heard the fan so it's either quiet or unused so far haha

Optical Drive

Perfect and quiet !

Wireless Network Adapter

works great love that it has both bluetooth and wifi. space saver.

Fan Controller

surprisingly simple to install, not to easy to read though you have to stand infront of it and kinda look down on it to see temps.

Lol yea had to pay for some car parts and concert tickets in the midst of building this the chair is budgeted from the attic lol xD

Also the keyboard and monitor are both budget for now pieces . The monitor was $100 at Walmart I needed it and the $10 keyboard to just make my computer useable to start up till I get the rest of everything in place

I have the same case and close to the same motherboard and I had a quick question; the power LED connection isn't pictured the way it's supposed to in the motherboard manual and I've seen various pictures showing that the connection should be routed to the connection in front of the SSD cartridge storage. I was wondering if you wouldn't mind showing what that looks like as well as which audio connection to use, the "HD Audio" or the "AC'97". Sorry if it's a bit confusing, I'm just a bit flustered with this being my first build and all. Thanks!

I used the hd Audio one . I did a little googling and it seemed to be Bette that way so far no issues I just tucked the other cord behind the mobo I fed it threw by the psu right under were it connects to the mobo . Also the hdd hot swap I took out and placed a fan down there as far as the little wires like the 2 prong things . I taped them together and plugged them in as if it was one plug . It's hard to explain but it will end up looking. Like ur hd audio one . Idk why they split them that took me forever to figure out . I'll be home from work in a few hours and take a pic to help you better
