Description

The only update as of now is that I got an AX760 from Corsair into the system because my other PSU died. Thank GOD it didn't kill anything when it went!! Please note that the LED kit is for my friend and NOT this build. I am looking to get an i7, 16 GB RAM, Glacer 240L and a Fractal R4 or 750D case. It will be used for gaming, video capture, and video editing. Small upgrade but this site is for sharing, so what the heck? If you need any help with your parts selection, go to IamApropos's website or check out his Facebook page. He did not help me with this build - I did not know of him then - but through discussions, I can tell that he knows his stuff. He is good for advice and just nerd/tech talk ;D

If you can, avoid this case... At first I liked it but I have come to realize just how impractical it is for basically anything except air cooling... and even at that, it is mediocre. Just for reference, I have a Phenom II X4 955BE, but I couldn't find it on PCPP though that may be due to my merchant restrictions.

I typed all of this on a membrane keyboard at my school... it was horrible. Mechanical switches should be used EVERYWHERE! Old pics are on my previous post but I will upload newer pics with the AX760 in later today. Hope you enjoyed!

This computer is being a poo so I had to put this at the end. With the PSU fan on Hybrid mode, I have yet to see it spin up at all. I lost my side fan so I just took its dust filter and chucked it ontop of the PSU just to stop any from falling in and whatnot. Again, thanks for viewing/reading!

Good parts selection, but why a 760W power supply? +1 for the Razer Imperator

Wanted about 750W for future expansion and it is 80Plus Platinum rated (power is expensive in my area). Love my imp :)

They are okay. I hate that they've switched to Kaihl mechanical switches and they've completely removed any color but green from their products. They say that they aren't interested in making money yet make cheaper products for the same price as others (even their own previous ones). I like my Imperator, but I don't think that I'd buy another one of their products again.

You should give them a try, they improved very well, it's worth a try, I know some might like ther old products with blue lightning, you like blue more than green, the reason they changed ther products color that ther logo is a tripple headed snake, and snakes are green, ok not all snakes.
