Description

This is my second complete PC build, my first pc build was interesting.. but left me wanting more. I had not tackled many issues in the part picking stage early in that build that left me needing a massive case after I upgraded to GTX 560 Ti's due to poor motherboard slot placement.

This build was meant to do three things, play games, render videos, and listen to music. I tried to incorporate a build that looks aesthetically pleasing by using a upgraded arylic window, and all matching parts. I had previously upgraded my old rig with the seasonic power supply, plextor SSD and sound card so while it shows in my part list.. i had already had it. I hope you enjoy the pics. I bought custom sleeved cables for my PSU from Ensourced Custom Cables on facebook for $95. Not included in price is my $300 vmoda m100 headphones or $100 lamptron fan controller.

+1 for the vmoda m100s

The audio technica is nice, but i dislike open backed design and i also don't like the headband.

I find V-Moda's to be way too bass-heavy. Also, their customer service is pretty bad. That said, I'm not fond of those particular model of AT's either.

Just use an eq to turn the bass down.

Did you even do research? They were made to be bass heavy.

Plus you should've tried them out in a store, they are in many shops.

I tried using an EQ, it didn't do a whole lot. I didn't have time to do research as I was given a set of M80's as a replacement for my Vibrato earbuds. They broke two weeks later and that's all she wrote.

I made a mistake, i have ATH AD700s not AD700x

V-modas m100s are typically dance music geared headphones and thahts what I enjoy the most

Do the crossfades perform similarly, but for cheaper? I'm looking into some basic headphones and I also am fond of bass...

i need a tenkeyless keyboard for my keyboard tray and liked the cm one, ive had a lot of these parts long before i bought my c70 vengeance and vengeance pro ram kit which inspired the name.

I've had the mouse/kb/soundcard/ssd/psu/headphones and added the newer intel cpu, gpu, mobo, ram

I'm really liking your rig, especially the case. I recently did a build for a friend using that case, and I like it so much, I might use one in my next build.

My only gripe is that your cabling could be a bit neater/tighter.

I'm waiting for my cable combs to neaten up the cables and make them tighter. Its really hard to tame them without the combs.

Ah, fair enough. Where can you buy cable combs anyways?

Very nice and clean overall build. I've been wanting a pair of vmoda's for a while and am pretty convinced that they have awesome sound quality, but do you think that they will come out with another pair of headphones I should wait for? Btw, im still saving up

I really like it all black, it doesn't have that nice aesthic that fractal design classes do (but those cases have small windows which is MEH for me) I really liked the corsair 750d, but it was a little too tall for my needs and wouldn't fit properly on that little side drawer I use in my pics to rest my PC on.

I would of gotten the 750d overwise, but then i really would need two gtx 770's to fill it up properly or it would look empty
