Description

This is my first gaming computer build and I felt like it came out pretty damn good! I use this machine strictly for gaming only! I only had one issue, that was that the motherboard came DOA and it sucked taking everything apart and putting it back together. It took me almost 5 hours to put it together the first time because I was being so cautious trying not to ruin anything. When I took the mother board back to frys and got a new one I came home and barely took me 30 minutes to put together! I really love this build. It is very quick and I play everything on max settings. My keyboard, mouse, and headphones are awesome and they all work perfect together with the Logitech gaming app. The Logitech gaming app is amazing (when it wants to work) it tells you real time data for GPU, memory, and CPU usage on your smart phone! It did not let me add the XBOX one controllers in the peripheral section but I also have 2 of those. All and All it runs perfect and never has any issues! Let me know what you think in the comment section below!

Good build but some more pictures would definitely help. I'm guessing the motherboard is newly introduced? Correct me if I'm wrong, but the Aura series is new, and I have never seen that motherboard before. It looks great for the price.

Personally I would've gone with a different PSU, especially with your power hungry 8350 and R9 390, perhaps an EVGA 650W B2/G2/P2, or Corsair's RM series, or Seasonic's S12II 620W.

I will definitely add more pics when I get home. I do apologize but I put the wrong motherboard. I have the MSI 970 gaming motherboard I had tried to edit after I submitted but it wont let me change it on here, it only shows it updated on my side. And thank you! it works perfect! I was going to go with Corsair's RM series but decided not to in the end because the psu I have has had nothing but good reviews, and for the price it couldn't be beat.

Night shift. Do you like working nights? I was blessed with a change to dayshift about 2 years ago. I had loved nightshade, but once I was home and could see my kids during the week I was gung-ho for days.

More pictures. Sweet I'll check them out later tonight.

Well the msi MOBO I have has the safe way of doing it with OC genie. I have it on that right now.. idk if i want to manually do it myself, also because i don't know how haha. But i would like to at some point.

Understandable, I didn't really know how either so it was a learning venture. The 8350 is great for overclocking and it really does make a difference.

cpu and mother board set up was perfect! I have no issues! And I just used the oc genie that comes with the mobo and it auto over clocked it from 4.0 to 4.2 by just pressing ocgenie in the bios!

I only have it at 4.1 right now with the over clock genie.. I need to learn how to go into bios and do it manually. I will have it overclocking way higher soon when I learn how to do it this week! I will keep posted on here.
