Description

After years of gaming exclusively on laptops, my wife finally let me build her a PC using parts I was replacing in my own builds. The build has evolved as she got used to gaming on a desktop and got more interested in what components she used and what everything looked like. She hated this case at the start, but once I transplanted all the parts into it and fired it up, she fell in love. She started with some wierd as hell NZXT case that had terrible airflow, 2 HD7870's, a 990fx Extreme4 motherboard, and several other different parts. This list is her build in its current state. Her power supply was purchased new for her build and we dropped the crossfired 7870's for a new, single GTX 970. She's dying to switch to Intel and we'll update the build when that happens.

Update: Finally switched to Intel. She picked the parts herself and is pretty pleased with the result.

Haha yeah. I HD made the mistake of replacing several psu's with the CX750M. I haven't had issues with them, but all I hear is that it's an accident waiting to happen. I'm comfortable with it in her rig. She doesn't push her system like I do mine. When she makes the jump to Intel I'll definitely be replacing it.
