Description

I have been Mac user all my life and gamer for around 15 Years since wow vanilla, I created this build mainly for gaming (of course) I play alot of Dota 2 , WoW , Elder scroll but since I moved to India to work and live , the latency on game like WoW and Elder scrolls was quite bad 250ms + hence not competitive at all. Then I heard good reviews of some Korean MMOS like BnS, Bless & BDO but they are available only on Win so I decided to start a build from scratch just to play these games.

I Still need to fix the leds on the middle (waiting a new order) and some cable management underneath as well as fix an issue with the gpus that are sagged.

I have some feedback for some of the components and configuration especially on the MOBO. I'll add them later.

Two questions: Pascal is coming out in a few months, why not wait? Why do you need an $8k computer to play those easy to run games?

ATM I can run any game Ultra settings 4k (witcher , Black Desert etc) and with pascal perhaps right now could be overkill , However if I need an upgrade swaping cards with the new ones and sell the current setup will not be an issue.

Now that is a hell of a thing. Not sure if it was worth getting for Blade & Soul. :D

Currently I play Black Desert , Witcher & Dota 2 on it , I started to play BnS but the translation of the game for Korea version sux so I quit really quick. and playing in US or NA is not an option.

That's a shame. It's not a bad game, especially in the Korean version.

I heard BDO was pretty good too, and the character creation is unrivaled, but BnS and some others have the one-up on it 'cause they aren't paid.

Anyway, hope you have fun with this PC! Looks damn amazing and it's clear you put a lot of effort into it. :)

It's really expensive. But it has a lot of great parts too. Plus it looks nice.

I dont know if this is your room or a computer room, but it would sure make a great red night light.

Parts are good, so it would make a good computer part time as well

jk

Honestly, it is a great build, cable management, parts and pictures.

One of the best build ever seen: not fancy parts but only what matters in order to increase perfomance. Since you have done a lot, why not adding a third gtx 980 ti ?

Ty @Nerd2 took me a while to get all the parts but at the end of the day worth the waiting.

A third card in SLI would have greatly diminishing return. and currently with this setup I can pretty much run anything at 4k res ultra settings 60fps. better wait 1 or 2 years and I get 2 way sli Titans pascal

An Old build, but is 64gb RAM viable? If so, which variant? Thanks

you think so? well under load the psu only consume max 500 w based on the UPS monitor. On my opionion not need go for 1k + , unless I allocate more gpus.
