Description

I built this computer in 2013. I have recently upgraded it with an SSD and a new Mobo. I have overclocked my CPU from 4 to 4.21 its not that big of an overclock but I said what the hell and did it anyways. I use this computer for just about everything from Photoshop to playing Battlefield. So overall a great reliable computer.

I got a hyper 212 evo which is amazing currently at 4.1 ghz with safe temps. This motherboard is perfect for OC.

I would recommend changing out that psu ASAP. I've heard some terrible things about Cool Max.. You may have gotten a great deal, but I bet it doesn't even put out 700 watts. Cheaper psu's like these usually don't put out the listed amount of watts, sometimes they are even 200-300 watts under.. I recommend buying a unit from Seasonic, XFX, or Antec. Avoid the CX units from Corsair at all costs as well, they use cheap capacitors that fail under load.

Its not that bad in the future I will but I don't have very much money.

What made you choose such a hefty motherboard? You could have easily been safe with a $100 cheaper motherboard for the parts you have. To each his own, but that was my only curiosity.

I didn't really feel like buying a motherboard after I already bought one so I picked out the best one.

The only thing more ridiculous than that logic, is the fact that you put an FX series chip in a gaming computer.

Gamings mostly gpu entensive so it really doesnt matter what cpu i throw in it, some amd fans are still running phenom x4 and x6 granted they are overclocked but with a graphics card like mine they can run anything on ultra thats just insane right well its true

Well, you can have your bunk logic and ribald sence of how a computer works. In addition to source-devoid facts called up on the spot, and bark up another tree.

ok dont believe me idc doesnt change the fact that its true

My previous mobo broke so I wanted a ROG board and also this started as a 400 dollar computer and slowly grew over the years

Why the 2 star rating on the fans?

they're just really cheap fans one started to go out recently and I had to add some oil to the fan bearing and it worked again but overall the airflow is terrible
