Description

AKA The KBMOD "Sweet Spot" with some modifications. The case was a bit of a **** as the CPU power cord wouldn't feed through the upper left hand slot which is crappy, but everything went well other then that. This is built for a buddy and other then the Canadian dollar being so weak it turned out quite well.

Turn the CPU cooler around.

Yeah, definitely flip the fan on the cooler to the other side. That way it's taking cool air from the red intake fan, and therefore lowering temps. Right now it's taking air from the out take fan, ie the fan heat is drawn to. This is almost creating a loop of air that isn't particularly cool.

...CPU power cord wouldn't feed through the upper left hand slot which is crappy,

I'm surprised you had a hard time there since I was able to get mine in but then again I had to angle it through the hole and pull it enough to squeeze an 8-pin CPU through. Yet sounds like this EVGA's CPU's 8-pin is bigger than usual? Sorry to hear about the cord.

And please have the CPU fan push hot air through the back of the case, not from within. IF it's a pull, I still would suggest a push effect when using one fan with the 212 EVO.
