Description

Hello. This is my 4rth build (only 3 posted as of this one though), but this time I built it for a customer, not a friend. I actually got payed for doing what I loved. All I needed to do was to come to his house, and build it.

Anyways, let's get right into the neeeeeews. I meant parts list (insert meme here)

CPU: First choice when building a computer. Skylake really is a superb architecture, which everyone should know by now, so the 6600k was an easy choice. Perfect gamer CPU, with 4 cores and 4 threads (I think ;p) which will last a long time. That paired with the 212 Evo and a bit of over clocking is the perfect combo imo.

GPU: Perfect choice for 1080p/1440p in DX12. Also with sapphire's triple cooler it will remain silent at high speeds. I'm not a fan of either AMD or Nvidia, but the r9 390 is a better card than the 970, aswell as being more "future proof" as people like to say, with dx12.

Now, I'm too lazy to go over the rest of the parts, but the case was really good, motherboard was alright, even though asus requires you to download the drivers for it before being able to use Ethernet, but you need to go on their website which requires Internet face palm. The Powersupply is silent AF and would recommend it over corsair.

Yeah, hope you liked my build, and I wish to build another computer for a customer in the future!

+1 for the build, real slick and good budgeting there

One question though, why didn't you wait for rx480?

As I said, the build was for a customer, and therefor I needed to build it within a certain amount of time. He didn't want to wait.

Hi, I'm looking to buy the same case. However my current CPU cooler is 162 mm tall. Since yours is 159 mm tall. Can you guess if my slightly taller cooler would fit? ;) I've seen differing clearance information.

You will have to check the maximum CPU cooler length on the case. I think it's 160mm max.

I know. I ordered it anyway, since some people suggested it might work. Let's find out.

It fits! I'm using a 162mm CPU cooler with a windowed P400S.
