I mainly use this machine for gaming. I mostly play DayZ Standalone, BF4, Arma 2, Arma 3, Minecraft, and a few other games. I really like the color scheme being black and green. I did not actually think of it when I bought the parts, but it worked out in the end. I originally had a pc with the same mobo paired with an fx 4130 and a HIS radeon 7770. I finally saved up enough money from my part time job at jimmy johns to upgrade to this green machine. Some stuff I kept like the mobo, cpu, and the ram because I felt like they didn't need upgrading. Also, I wasn't trying to go all gamer bling. I wanted something sudle and nice.

CPU: Mainly because I didn't want to buy a new mother board to fit a intel cpu. I got this from my old build and I dont feel the desire to buy a brand new intel cpu and mobo just to get a "little" better fps.I plan on overclocking when I can.

CPU Cooler: I have herd great reviews and it keeps my cpu extremely cold, for a cheap air cooler. Motherboard: As I said, I got this from my old build and it still was compatible with everything I bought and I have no complaints. It also overclocks really well for a basic board.

RAM: Good, cheap, reputable, ram that is also fast enough

Storage: This was not the only one I have in my build, the rest are just mixed matched ones that I have token out of old laptops and desktop round the house.

Video Card: I was originally going to get a r9 280x but those f'n crypto-miners raised the price, so I have settled with the beast of a card that will handle anything.

Case: Also from my old build, but it looks really nice, has a fan controller on it, and has good air flow and cable management.

Power Supply: It was on sale at microcenter and I couldn't resist

Optical Drives: YOLO, it works, and the only why I got one is because of my Microsoft Flight Simulator X

OS: got it cheap though my school.

Monitor: Got it really cheap at microcenter. I don't see the 16ms response time, but I wish it was better.

Keyboard: I couldn't resist customizing my own keyboard... even if it was a little more expensive. the keyboard in the picture is not the one i ordered, the one I bought is still in the mail.

Mouse: recommended by all my friends and it EXTREMELY comfortable compared to my old mouse. And it looks sweet.

Headset: 7.1 Audio. the bass is f'n amazing. the highs are meh though. but I got it for a great price on a sale.

If you think there are any problems or bottlenecks, please comment. Also, tell me if you like the looks and the cable management.

I'm sure you have your reasons, but wouldn't it have been more balanced if you lowered the gtx 770 and upgraded that AMD to something better. (this would've let you get atleast a 6300) I mean this in the most non hostile way, just my two cents

Yeah, i apretiate it and i plan on upgradeding during the summer. I just dont feel compelled to spend another $300 for new cpu and mobo. I already had this one from an old build

Fair enough, as long as you atleast have the will in the future to change it out (this build seems unbalanced because of this) for a better Mobo and Cpu such as 8350 or even intel based

if youd went intel you could've got a gigabyte MOBO to keep the black/green goin. im a noob myself and not an intel fanboy (the opposite actually) and i know that the price difference doesnt justify the looks. just my twocents

Thanks, I agree, its just I didn't buy all this stuff together, the cpu and the mobo were form a seperate build and I am waiting to upgrade them.

thanks, gives me some hope lol. I've read alot of reviews on this board after i bought it for 40 bucks. and i heard it does well for others and is really bad for some.

how much did u OC ur gpu and cpu?

I have been able to reach a stable clock of 4.4 Ghz on the cpu and I haven't done any overclocking on the GPU besides gpu boost 2.0 making the boost clock 1256mhz

why would it bottleneck ? just cause you get low fps doesn't mean your bottle-necking. If your cpu is maxed playing a game and the gpu is barely doing work on a gpu related game its time to upgrade till then do not use the term bottleneck

who cares what they think dont take advice from ppl like that let alone ppl in general if your getting what your hardware can do then **** the rest ,and there is several very well done videos on youtube showing how its almost impossible to bottleneck current cpu's with a decent gpu playing games at max while running valley and cinebinch benchmarks so i call bs on everyone who says bottleneck when there isnt one

and btw , a 8350 is 4 cores with 8 threads i dont see how something thats equal to a hyperthreaded i7 or i5 which is supposedly got 8 cores is considered bottlenecking now days i5 doesnt use hyperthreading and it does just fine on 4 cores 4130 4 cores with better mutlithreaded performance and this ******* says bottleneck thats a real laugh

Not much, just in games like dayz and arma 3. but a little overclocking will do just fine.
