Description

Here it is, my $2000 custom gaming PC. I like to call it Sub Zero. The plan was to have a very high end gaming PC but with a cool blue color scheme. For the motherboard I originally went with an Asrock Extreme 9 but unfortunately it turned out to be defective. I replaced it with the Gigabyte Z97X Gaming GT motherboard. The PC plays every game I have tried out on it so far at 1080p maximum settings and that's what I want to do with this PC; great 1080p gaming and fast video editing.

Check out the video of the PC!!

The PC only uses about 356 watts. If I SLI the PC it still wont even require 700 watts. I didn't buy a water cooler since I'm not over clocking yet but I do plan on buying a Corsair h100i in the future. 16 gigs of ram is doing me very well at the moment but I would like to definitely get a water cooler for the CPU. When I go into a video editing program the CPU temp jumps up to 75 degrees Celsius while loading the video data then drops back down to 40 when its loaded and ready to be edited. I'm hoping that's not an issue. The PC does get too hot when gaming. The 970's fans stay off until its needed like when playing a game. The 4 fans in the case are doing a good job of keeping everything cool and pretty quite.

Solid part choices but could we see some pics of the inside? It's just to make sure everything on the forum is legit, and we'd love to see how the cable management came out ;)
