Description

Cooking two birds with one coal. Keeps me from freezing my butt off this winter and perfect FPS. Blood, sweat, and tears. Literally..... Stuck my knuckle in a moving fan once, it needed a fresh layer of skin anyways.

Added 3DMark Scores for ultra and extreme. Right now I'm in 1st place on ultra. Going against people with the same setup that is.

This is the kind of build that needs the old Sapphire Vapor X cards, they would go perfect in there. Beauty ode le AMD o7

I tell you how much I wish they would put that heatsink on these cards. Though my intention to begin with was watercooling, just waiting for a company to make full cover blocks.

Beast. Thats alot of fans.

I have an issue with open spots lol. Need as much flow as possible to keep the cards cool.

Could've got an 15 and bought a 980ti and put the rest of the 200 into actual parts that are quality.

have you thought about doing a custom loop because this system would look super bad *** with one.

Just waiting on them to make some full size water blocks for the cards and then I'll be investing into that. Right now EK's water blocks don't cover the VRMs.

How did you manage to connect all of those fans? Fan splitters?

  • 1 point

Case comes with six fan headers coming from the top fan control panel.. The fans are quiet so I never use the button so I just plugged as many as possible. I also purchased a four way splitter for the remaining four fans.

Had a room mate with a space heater in his room complaining about it being cold when we were snowed in. He comes in my room and says "Dang it's hot in here" Hence the name lol

Lol years back I added a blower style video card to my pc. As a played in the winter I could turn it sideways and put my feet near it. It was just like a little heater.

I have a fear of putting this on the floor lol but if I did it would make a great foot warmer.

The new Tomb raider at 1920x1200 with everything on max, even the anti-amd settings it is pegged 60fps. My monitor is only 60hz so I play any higher then that. If you want I can post up 3D Mark scores lol.

Super gorgeous build <3 Hows the 9590 treating you?

  • 1 point

Does just about everything I ask it to do. I don't think I'll ever be unhappy with it considering how much I paid for it. It's a great chip at the price point and hopefully with more dx12 games coming out, they will utilize every core this thing has.

Awesome! I'll be picking one up soon since I multitask so much with school, and I'm also taking some game design courses. My i5-4440 just doesn't cut it in the courses I'm taking. Glad to hear you like your 9590! I know a lot of people weren't satisfied with it.

Compared to Intel it's not that great, but for the price it is perfect. I paid $140 for it at a local computer store.

I'll be grabbing mine for about $205, and then I'll hopefully be building my first ever custom water cooling loop using Zen later this year! I will be turning the rig I'm putting the 9590 into a workstation/editing rig for my mother who is a professional photographer. Call me crazy but I just really don't like Intel that much :. I don't agree with their shady business motives. I like to know what type of business I'm giving my money to! haha, and I know AMD is a good company that wants to better the gaming community.

Love how you cut the plastic support on the front mesh of the Corsair 780t. I'm building my corsair 780t right now and I gotta say without that ugly plastic support, it really give it clean look together with the Riing thermaltake fans. :)

Yeah, after I bought it I YouTubed the case and found some one who did it so I copied them. I did it in the top and front. Was rather annoying having them block the fans lol. Thanks! If you do this mod be careful not to cut the dust filter, it's a delicate procedure.

Did cutting the plastic supports in the mesh have any negative effect at all? I want to cut the ones in mine as well.

No negative effect so far, just be careful not to cut the mesh itself.
