My very first ever gaming PC build! I've always been a console gamer, I switched from playstation to but PC gaming and tbh it's a whole other world lol.
I was surprised how everything turned out, especially for my first build. everything was up and running in no time. I hate buying things online because of numerous times things arrived broken or receiving the wrong product but I ended up going this route which saved me a lot of time. My main concerns while building my pc was installing the CPU into the motherboard, after hearing about so many things that could go wrong during that process I almost died. For the Memory, It sounded like sand paper rubbing against steel. Lastly, while I was installing my GPU I realized it could be to large for my NZXT 700 case since it went slightly over the inner bar but it fits perfectly fine.
To start things off I was prepared to spend around 2k for my whole my set up but ended up spending just a tad bit moreeee... Now into the build, So the CPU I chose was the Intel Core i7-8700K that is hooked up to the NXZT Kraken x62, while in use the temp runs at around 42 degrees celsius while using the stock thermal paste that is applied. As for my GPU I have the EVGA GeForce GTX 1080 Ti FTW3, while running the temps go between 55-73 degrees celsius. Neither of these are overclocked and are both using the stock thermal paste, but I do plan on switching the thermal paste in the future.
I'm very happy about this build and if you guys have any tips for me or any game recommendations that would be great!
