Description

This was my first PC build. I always liked the NZXT H440 white and black builds, so I went in with that as my intended design. It's used for 1440p gaming, Photoshop editing and as a home media server. It went very smoothly thanks to this site. I think it looks great, but I might switch the fans in the case/H100i to Corsair silent SP120 with white rings, get some white braided cables and add a white LED strip. The case was a dream to build in and really helps keep everything looking clean. I know the PSU is a bit of overkill for my wattage needs, but I wanted to leave some headroom for a future SLI setup, more storage, peripherals and overclocking.

Nice! And where did you buy the Z97-AR? I have the Z97-A but when I bought mine I never even heard of the -AR version...

I live and work in Taiwan. The Z97-AR is quite common here. It's a great board and much cheaper than the Pro. Plus, I prefer the color of the AR.

Thanks everyone. I just added some new pictures with my peripherals. Asus MX27AQ, Corsair K70 with Cherry MX blue switches and Logitech G502 Proteus Core.

thanks a lot. it has been nice. i thought about getting a g-sync, but i don't find it that necessary for my purposes...especially at the big price increase.

Could you add two more 980 to this build if you wanted to? (I'm new to building pcs)

Yes I could. But I would probably just upgrade to a single or dual 980ti instead.
