This has been a long time in the making. I have spent months figuring out exactly what I was going to do with my setup, and I think I finally found it.
I want to start off by saying that yes, I am 13 years old, and yes, I did build this without any help, other than a little loan from my grandparents, and I have since then payed them back... without any interest :)
I mainly use this system for gaming and homework, although I am starting to get into a little content creation, such as video editing and photography. The main games I play are Forza Horizon 4, Battlefield V, and Rainbow Six Siege, although I do play some Rocket League and Doom from time to time. This machine with the RTX 2070 basically crushes anything at 1440p with around 90-120 FPS on ultra in most games.
I have no complaints so far with this machine, except for RGB Fusion. If you really care about RGB effects on your motherboard, I would stay away from Gigabyte products. Gigabyte, if you are reading this, make RGB Fusion like it was before all the weird updates.
I have the processor overclocked to 4.05GHz on all cores, and it runs extremely cool with the ML240L. The computer is very good temperature-wise.
Thanks for taking a look at my PC/Setup!
UPDATE: I have now added Noctua Chromax fans in place of all the regular fans, and I can say that they are dead silent.
This processor is amazing at basically amazing at everything and overclocks really well.
This is a steal for the money although the included fans aren't the best and the rgb has noticeable hotspots.
This motherboard is a steal for the price I got it for. I am not all crazy about all the RGB effects, but RGB Fusion sucks and App Center does too, so if you care about that, don't get this motherboard.
Best. Looking. RAM. Ever. Period.
This is WAY faster than necessary, and it boots in about 10 seconds. It holds files pretty well.
This is really just storage for my games, and sometimes textures will load in slowly which is annoying.
This graphics card is efficient, cool, fast, and way more powerful than most things at this price point, if you're not willing to buy used.
This case is great, has tons of room for cable management, and nice RGB strips. It is a little cramped to initially get the motherboard in though. I honestly don't think it's worth it over the h500 for the RGB strips.
This is a great fully-modular power supply that will supply power for hopefully forever.
This monitor is an absolute steal, with all the other G-Sync 1440p 144Hz monitors costing at least $600. It also has a 4-port usb hub, which is nice.
For this price, there is no better RGB Mechanical gaming keyboard.
I got this mouse as a gift, the built-in profiles are cool, the 8 programmable buttons are cool, and the RGB is cool.
These headphones are great! They have nice sound and deep bass. 7.1 surround works well too.
By far the best speakers under $100.
