Description

Only built this 2 days ago so haven't really had the chance to run benchmarks however I will keep you updated. I mainly built this machine for gaming and recording and maybe the odd live stream here and there.

CPU: I opted to go with this as I wanted to be able run nearly any game that I throw at it for a very cheap price. I do plan on over clocking in the future when I upgrade my cooler to either the hyper 212 Evo or the h100i gtx.

Motherboard: One of the main reasons as to why I chose this board is because of my colour scheme. This is one the only 970 boards I could find that would match my colour scheme. Also it gives me the option to upgrade to a 2-way sli in the future.

GPU: Originally I chose to go with 4gb version of this card as it was on offer however the price went back up so I chose to go with the 2gb version instead. Despite this decision I am not disappointed at all from what I have used of the card. Another major factor for me choosing this is because it also matches my colour scheme.

I will keep you posted for any benchmarks that I run.

Tried building this (sort of) same build with the same cpu and mobo, did you run into any problems when test running it?

Why did you go with the 960 when the R9 380 or a Kepler GTX 760/670 is more powerful than this one?

he probably didn't go wit the R9 380 because he will use Shadow Play if he records.
