My personal desktop. I have used it for everything from a simple Internet browser all the way to a bitcoin miner. Regular use is streaming Dota 2 onto Twitch.
Bitcoin mining rate...about $0.02 every 10 years.
Lol a little more than that, but yes that was the problem.
I exaggerated a wee bit. Lol.
At least it'll have an upgrade after Christmas. XD
you mine bitcoin on this?
I mined for about a week, before I realized it was cost-deficient. I would be paying more in processing power eventually than I would recieve in bitcoins.
I might mine LTC when i get my build for about a week, just to hold a couple denominations of the currency (never know, it could jump in value).
That CPU has no integrated graphics. What GPU are you using?
The motherboard's page here on PCPartPicker shows that it has onboard video. The video, then, would becoming from onboard video, rather than from the processor or a graphics card.
Onboard graphics seem to being a dying thing these days, but they do still exist. The ECS board has 'em--Radeon HD3000 according to ECS' website.
Ahh ok. Didn't check that
An observant one. :D Also taking your time to get facts correct, cudos.
The north bridge of the motherboard has a built in graphics processor. I plan on buying a graphics card for Christmas but even without an external system it seems to do well.
I think it's called Magic
**** magic (South Park? anyone?)
Yep. 5 billion CUDA cores clocked at 1 terrahertz... Can almost run minesweeper
Why play Minesweeper when you could play Zork? Blazing fast.
If there isn't any graphics card it shouldn't even be able to boot, let alone bitcoin mine.
