Description

Use the rig mostly for gaming with a little office type work. Started with a pretty basic build to replace an older machine that was having issues and reused a lot of parts. Other parts I just had lying around so I tossed it in there (such as the SSHD).

CPU is OC'd to 4.7GHz @ 1.24V and the GPU is OC'd to 1548 MHz. 6 software controlled fans usually running at around 600-700 RPM for quiet operation. 3 of them in pull configuration against the 2 radiators. Case is very easy to build in.

A better description of what you use this PC for and some more pictures would be nice. The hybrid HDD doesn't make sense? But nice for that 1 pic..

Absolute beast of a build! Nice use of that NZXT Kraken G10 by the way... I love seeing more and more people using this component for better temperatures!

Holy crap, dude. Are the prices accurate? So with the mobo $5000? Hot damn!

More pictures and description please.

Yea was shocked myself when I saw the total. I started with a basic build but kept adding to it. Got a great deal on the CPU + mobo from a friend that works at Intel.

I'm thinking of getting this case but have some concerns. Since i'm building a similar build, i was wondering if you can tell me a few things. First off, are you using 4 strips or 2 strips? how did you wrap it around the panel window? to get the rotating effect nicely. Lastly are you able to see all the components nicely or does it cut off?

What FPS are you getting on games with that 980? I'm planning on getting the xtreme gaming edition and the Asus x34 and I am just wondering if I should go all the way and get a 980 ti and eat from McDonald's for the next year or save a few hundred bucks.
