Description

I built this pc last summer after saving up all summer mowing lawns and side jobs. When I first Built my computer I was using an old dell monitor that I found in the basement that was temporary, then I got the view sonic about 2 weeks later. Then for Christmas I got the CPU cooler, LED's, Logitech g510s, g930 headset, The MMO mouse and all the fans. I play everything from league of legends to Day z. Oh almost forgot I got the other monitor from my friend for $20 that also saved up and we built them together. The only problem I have had is that when I overclocked my CPU my computer would randomly restart and blue screen when I was playing my games. It was not overheating because I was monitoring it on my second monitor. It was only about 48C. I think its cuz windows 8.1 is retarded... cant wait until windows 10. But if anyone thinks they know the problem please comment. But other than that I love the PC. Btw im helping my friend build a pc for a budget of $1000 so plz message me if you have any recommendations.

Part Reviews

CPU

Great Budget Build CPU, would highly recommend

CPU Cooler

I actually got this for $30 but forgot to change it. For the price it is a great cooler I overclocked my CPU to 4.2 Ghz and I still have more room for overclocking but I don't want to change the voltage anymore

Storage

My mom bought this on a light'n sale on amazon about 5 months before I built my computer and the reviews said it makes there computer faster but she thought she just pluged it in and went faster and I was like no mom it doesn't work like that and it couldn't fit in my moms laptop and then she was going to return it but I wanted to build a computer so we kept it and yea works great boots up fast

Video Card

Didn't overclock as well as I wanted without getting tearing and artifacting but still a decent GPU for the price

Case

Best case for the price. to have a fan controller which works great at a case in this price range is very rare and it looks awesome. Just wish it didn't have a Inwin logo right on the window

Wireless Network Adapter

for such a cheap wireless adapter it works great. I will go to my friends houses and I will get less ping and less lag spikes than my friend with a gaming laptop sitting next to me on the same game.

Case Fan

little loud at full bore but still a great fan if you don't want to spend a lot.

Keyboard

for the $60 I got it for it is a great keyboard but if it costs any more I would of just got a mechanical keyboard. It was either get this or a cheap mechanical keyboard for the same price.

Headphones

Very conferrable and good quality

your overclock may not be stable, try running prime95 with your overclock settings for a few hours and see if it doesn't crash.

It's a solid build. I would recommend getting the Gigabyte 990FXA-UD3 over the MSI 970 Gaming as the 990FX chipset is newer and it's better for overclocking.

The boxes you save up for like that are always worth the most :)

+1 for the build, though I would clean up the desk a bit.

Really nice build and glad to see someone enjoying an fx 6300 (used one in my 2nd build) I had mine clocked at 4.4ghz just wouldn't hit 4.5.
