Description

It was a blast! Tho cable management was a lot trickier than I had thought!!

My girlfriend and I took the afternoon to put it all together. We tested the board outside of the case and it ran smoothly on the first try.

ASUS ROG Strix 1070 O8 Gaming is on the way, will update pictures after it arrives.

Using the 5-way optimization from AI Suite 3 it got me a solid 4.6gz with max temps of 57°c.

That cpu is epic. Got z170 pro gaming mb and i5 6600k and with 4.6 oc, cpu stays under 60c. Btw i have only cheap aircooler, cm Hyper 212 evo with a jetflo 120mm fan :)))

It's great. It looks stunning in person and having the Q-Code display was very helpful for a first time builder.

the only downfall to your build is the 1 stick of Ram. It's always better to run Dual channel.

But overall.. Sexy Build <3

Thanks for the tip!

The reason I went with the 8gb was that I didn't really need any more than 8 for gaming
