Description

This was a build I put together a year ago for basic schoolwork and basic gaming. Boot up times are quick and can handle games like LoL at lower settings. Works great and hasn't had any issues over the past year.

I would have gone with an APU but nice build anyway.

The first generation APUs were just coming out then and were a lot more expensive than an $110 i3/motherboard combo from microcenter. This performs faster than APUs from last year. It's only the graphics end that is worse and this was mostly a school work computer.

Oh if it was just the first gen ones then the i3 isn't a bad choice.

Nice, I have that case but I'm going to replace it with a Fractal R4 that I just got. Very Nice build

Yeah. I have the R4 windowed in another build and it is great. Plenty of room for cable management.

Some are just different versions of the same computer. The rest are various builds for family.

Why do they even still make cases with top mounted PSUs?

Great use of $400. Excellent build for the price.

It wasn't a build for me. The power supply has room to add a lower end video card like a 7850, but the person I built it for hasn't had any problems with it.
