Nice build! You should've gone with the Galax HOF 1080 or the Asus Dual 1080 to stick with the white and black theme! Or even the EVGA SC 1080.

Yeah, but 430 was a really good deal for a 1080, otherwise a 1080 wouldn’t have fit in the budget

Hi. I am getting a GTX1080 build. How does it perform with the Ryzen5 1600X? Do you have The Witcher 3, because it is the reason for me to build a PC to play that game in 1080p.

Is a gtx 1080 with ryzen 5 1600 for 1080p gaming bad ?

I don’t see why it would, but this build is for 1440p gaming :D

Nice build. Want to build almost the same rig. Does the 1600x perform well with the 1080? What games have you played so far?

I'm currently picking out parts for a very similar build. Out of curiosity, did you have to get a separate mounting adapter to fit the H100i cpu cooler to the AB350 MOBO?

No, the H100i AMD mount works with Ryzen AM4 motherboards. But be aware that H100i and H100i v2 até different, and don’t know what brackets the v2 includes.

Nice build +1

But since you are using liquid cooling you should had tried to spend a bit more for the 1700. It can outperform the 7700k @ 5ghz while thr 1700 will be at 3.9/4 ghz.

1700 has lower single threaded perf than 1600x...

No, that's false. The only thing the OP could have done is save a bit money on the 1600 and pair it with some cl14 3200mhz ram kit. Overall, nice rig.

We did consider that, but we already bought all the parts at that point. You also forgot corsair RAM, headset, and speakers.
