Description

so this is my first build and i did a lot of thinking and after buying piece by piece it worked like a charm, SSD is so fast that when i turn my pc on, after 2 secs it opens up like there is no tomorrow, way better than my laptop lol, don't need to wait every 40-50 secs to start up, the graphics card works great so i got no complains with it, the computer itself is soooo quiet, i can't even hear the fans as if it isn't working (it's working)

running games on ultra such as the forest, paladins, overwatch and many others. i been a console player for almost all my life so after using this bad girl, i got to say it's twice better than console so this build is quite pricey but that's only because it's for upgrade in future. price drops like crazy

So overall i think i did a great job on picking on what i want, i didn't really care about cable management but i could have done it better if it i didn't worry about if it worked or not.

I think you did ok on price. I was the same for my first build, you don't go for the cheapest option in case it doesn't work. Nice build!

Nice work! When you get bored fix the cables and make it pretty since you got a window :) also get a good size 1080p ips monitor unless that's what that is but it looks little and old ;)

I used to cheap out on my monitors till I bought a 144hz on a whim, now I know I'd been cheating myself!

I think you need to fix your air flow, theCPU fan is circulating hot air back into your case instead of exhausting it out the rear fan. Put the fan on the other side of the heat sink (or flip the fan around), and that should be OK.

Otherwise good job, first builds are fun.

Nice build, but I think people say its more dangerous to have your motherboard on the anti-static bag, the motherboard box is what people recommend

why a locked cpu on a z270 motherboard?

Exactly. You could have spen half as much as you did on the motherboard and gotten the same performance. And you could have put that money towards a better psu and case. There is nothing bad with the ones you have, They are just better suited for a $500 build.

That's becase i'm not planning to over clock, so reason i brought it was becuase for my future upgrades, this cpu does a fine job.

Why did you go with z270 without getting an unlocked processor. A z170 mobo would have been a lot cheaper and you can baseclock overclock. And this is not twice as good as a console. It is over 9000 times better.
