This is my setup, been a WIP for over a few years now, PC started as horrible and ive slowly been upgrading parts little by little, now i have this. Feel free to ask any questions about anything on the setup, whether it be cable management, opinions on parts, etc etc.
Im upgrading pretty soon so I will update this as i do. My list of upgrades coming up are -Second monitor w/ dual monitor stand, most likely asus. -Logitech g703 lightspeed wireless mouse or G Pro Wireless, still deciding. -New Mic Boom Arm and New Mic, probably the Rode NT USB w/ the Rode PSA1 -Switching to the corsair k70 mk2 w/ mx browns (I want browns sooo bad) -Switching my case to the NZXT h510 elite (It looks sooo nice and an nzxt case would look more minimal) -Debating between a kraken X62 or a Corsair h115i (Kinda leaning towards kraken though, but not sure) -Upgrading to a 1070 FTW EVGA, Gonna paint some of the silver things on it white & Buy a White Backplate for it. -Probably grab a few 120mm AER Rgb fans to go in the new case, it comes with 2 140's.
If you have tips or ideas for my setup, Comment below! Or if you have opinions on any of the products i listed above that I am going to upgrade to, let me know, it helps alot.
Cant beat ryzen for a build like this. Honestly love my zen CPU especially for the price. Great for lower end and gets the job done super well. 100% recommend for anyone building a lower end PC.
Considering the price now, honestly id say buy it. From the $40 pricetag it was when i bought it, Its just a mediocre CPU cooler with fancy RGB slapped on it. It looks nice though, and keeps my temps low. So what can i say?
Great board, I bought this used, so I got a STEAL price. The RGB looks really nice with the diffusers and it functions well. I haven't had any notable issues with it (yet).
Great RAM! Runs fast, RGB looks great, matches the white build. I love iCue despite what people say about it. Ive heard stories of the RGB's just stopping working though, so if that ever happens Ill update my review of it for sure, lol.
Its an SSD, runs good, what can i say,
Same thing, just more storage.
So far so good, just recently picked this up because i used up the entire 240gb I had before, Got it on sale on black friday for like 30 bucks, so i cant say im dissapointed. When i first installed it it was making a really loud buzzing noise all the time, but I took it out of the HDD tray and messed with a few cables and it stopped. Weird.
Great great card, especially for what they are going for right now. It is custom painted white, (as seen in the pics) and does a good job for what I need it for, although probably going to upgrade to an EVGA 1070 FTW soon. :)
Honestly, this is a great case. Although I am switching out soon, I cant say I have very many complaints about this case, other than my glass panel shattered and had to get it replaced (which could have been my fault but also seemed fishy). Great airflow, easy to build in, matches my white build too. Although, I wish there were some more white components inside the case, but thats just me.
I am borrowing this PSU from a friend right now, and I dont have many complaints about it, pretty much just your standard 650w gold modular PSU.
LOVE this monitor. Honestly one of my favorite parts about my setup, once you mess around with the settings for it, the colors look wonderful. Having a 144hz monitor is something you truly underestimate until you get your hands on one. You might think people are exaggerating when they talk about how good it is, but they really arent. Pick this one up for SURE.
The price on this keyboard is way overpriced, but it is a quality product. RGB's look nice, the metal backplate makes it feel solid af, and I have Corsair's custom white PBT keycap set on it, and they also feel really nice. Cant say much else about it. The speed switches are okay, they take alot of getting used to when you first get them. I still like browns more which is why im going to switch out for a k70 mk2 with browns soon.
This mouse hasnt done me wrong, price isnt bad either. I hate the way the mouse looks (I DONT like razer) It just makes my setup look cheap. Im going to switch to a logitech G pro or G703 soon though, still deciding. Honestly, if you're trying to get a good bang for your buck mouse this isnt bad. The only thing i really like about it is the way my hand fits over it.
Honestly, this headset is pretty mediocre. The microphone on it sucks, BAD. The audio is pretty decent, but the battery life has dwindled since i got it. Its decently comfortable but nothing to write home about. Since I usually have to keep it plugged in at all times, I would honestly rather have something that is wired and has better audio. Since I have a blue yeti mic, my next buy will probably be dedicated headphones like some audio technicas or something.
