Nice build. One question: Why the B360 board? You have an 8600k and DDR4-3000 memory, neither of which can be utilized with a locked board...

What board would you use for this build? (new to building pcs, i really like how flashy this build is)

Nokmanoks is right. You'd want to use a Z370 board as it supports unlocked CPUs as well as RAM speeds that are higher than 2666.

z370 since you have an overclockable CPU. B360 and H370 boards are for non-differentiable CPUs.

I know, it's my first build, had no clue I would run into this problem

Asus B-360 F Gaming. It's locked, would not recommend if you're after overclockability

It was my first build, I didn't know about the locked and unlocked motherboards. I feel cheated...

Beautiful build! Nice clean routing jobs and than you for your consideration and support of STRIX! As always excited to welcome another build to #TEAMSTRIX. Overall great build and best of luck with it. May your clocks be high and your temps low!

Great build! Love the black finish of your rig.

Though I'm wondering, why did you go for B360 while you have unlock CPU?
