Description

For starters, I know basturd is spelled incorrectly(does not allow me to right the correct version because considered bad word), the reason I called it that is because when I first turned it on to see if it would turn on, the fans made a swastika symbol, and I just watched the movie with Brad Pitt and Christoph Waltz and I thought it was the perfect name.

This is my FIRST PC BUILD EVER!! I was looking for a machine to handle software such as SolidWorks and PTC Creo 3.0 and my first choice was a surface pro 4. Luckily my friend talked me out of it and showed me what power truly was. He helped me pick out all the parts and also helped me build the entire thing.

Picking parts: My CPU, I picked an i7 for power, but did not feel like I need the latest generation because it is my first build, and it saved money.

CPU cooler, I was actually going to leave it with the stock cooler but while at Microcenter with my friend, we found one for $10 and said why not

The motherboard, and video card was a suggestion by my friend and i went with it because I'm not going to do any crazy gaming just yet. Keyboard was a great price on Amazon and the mouse is silent click and it is soo perfect. One of my monitors was free because I had one lying around in my basement and Windows 10 was free also given to me by my university. I personally LOVE this machine. It is so powerful to my needs and also saved me so much money than buying anything else. i love it! I hope some of you guys/girls enjoy this build as well. Any tips or questions, i will love to hear and or answer.

Had to go with "Turd" huh?

Is it a floater or a sinker?

A Turd or otherwise known as poop. Floating at the top of the water or sinking to the bottom.

The word swastika comes from the Sanskrit svastika, which means “good fortune” or “well-being." The motif (a hooked cross) appears to have first been used in Neolithic Eurasia, perhaps representing the movement of the sun through the sky. To this day it is a sacred symbol in Hinduism, Buddhism, Jainism, and Odinism. Later this symbol was rotated 45 degrees though and used in Nazi Germany, which is why it has a bad reputation.

Is there any room behind the MB tray for any of those wires? If going for another CPU cooler, get one that blows front to back, and add an exhaust fan onto the back grill. You will get a straight shot of air front to back.

I should have taken picture after wires were hidden. That's my bad. I have another fan that is for the back of the PC, but my motherboard only allows so little connection for fans. Any idea how to add more? The more fans the better to me! And will take that into consideration. Thank you

Hmm. Ive got a suggestion. The fans in the front. Ones square, ones round. Use the 2 fans from the af 120 kit in the front and use the square fan that came with the case in the back.

That's a great suggestion. TBH I did not even notice, since one of the fans already came inside the PC, but will do! Thank you
