Description

I built this computer to play games without breaking the bank. I am very happy with its power and it plays all my games very nicely. It was surprisingly easy to put together and I didn't have any major problems. My main mistake with his build was getting the last-gen Ivy Bridge CPU instead of the Haswell as it will be difficult to upgrade later.

The holes you see directly to the right of the motherboard built in the case. Thos are cable management holes. you route the cables from where the hole is on the power supply and up and though the side ones. Also there is a little 1 inch hole up top on the back side of the case. Where you can feed the 8 pin motherboard power connector so you wont see all the messy wires. Take a look at some of my builds if you want a better look!

Good build also you could have had a better deal on the RAM. Good parts for the rest also it would have been nice to see the prices you paid vs the actual value. And finally, I hope you took domzlol advice ;)

Nothing wrong with being thrifty but some things are just worth the extra 20 or 30 bucks (ram). Don't feel bad on the wire management. I practically did the same thing until people told me to clean it up on here. After seeing some of these other builds I had to clean it up lol. It was driving me nuts! I even went as far as to spend hours putting in that window. It was worth it though. Get extensions for your power cables. 30 bucks is well worth it.

Well just a few things i would change here.. Your ram is running single channel.. :? deff would get X2 sticks for dual channel. and also i would not use a WD blue 1TB drive to put an OS on.. i would get a 64 GB ssd for 40-50 bucks.. would have not eaten mcdonalds for a few days and saved up .. well worth it no computer should be equipped with out an ssd. and deff would work on cable management.. helps a ton for airflow temp control and makes you proud every time you look in your computer. hope some of this helps!

Yeah I probably should have gotten an ssd. I got only one stick of ram because 2 4-gb sticks costed more at the time due to a combo. In the future I'll probably buy another 8-gb stick.

That's because he didn't get a Z77 board...take another look. MSI ZH77A-G43 ATX LGA1155

You can be sure if he did that, people would have said something!
