Description

This was a build for a friend named Eddie, who hasn't had a new PC since about... 10 years. So here is the build I put together for him. He loves his new PC and uses it for AutoCAD and work stuff.

Part Reviews

CPU

Again, a great CPU. Same one I used for my personal build.

Motherboard

Great board, works with the MSI GAMING APP along with GPU.

Storage

Mass storage for CAD drawings.

Video Card

For viewing AutoCAD in 3D

Case

They seriously had to make an Elite Edition right after I finished this build!

Power Supply

Power Supply is great, good quality, nice sleeved cables.

Operating System

Windows 10 Pro for cool people.

I kinda already gave the system to him, so I don't have it with me anymore.

Great looking build!

Interested in knowing why you installed the EVO in that direction, you would get better airflow if you installed it horizontally..

Also, I feel ya as I have the same case, and now It feels obsolete after looking at the elite :(... (It is a great case however, was really easy to build in)

Thoughts aside, really nice build and I hope your friend enjoys it!

I have mine that way and it shoots out air to the top exhaust fan, and I still get good GPU temps.

Ah, I see. Never thought about it that way, I guess that explains it.

Great build but a 6700k is maybe a little overkill?

PigWithAMustache 2 Builds 1 point 31 months ago

He needs it for autocad

It was a close price to the 6700 at the time of purchase, so why not.
