This is the final stage in what has been a series of upgrades and modifications.
Here it is in all its glory, my very own custom built mini-itx gaming PC.
Small but mighty.
*possibly the smallest and fastest rig on the planet but don't quote me on that
Obviously the case doesn't come like that and neither does the Power LED so I did what any engineer would do, take it apart and make it mine.
List of modifications:
One side of the case was cut to allow better airflow to GPU and make it a more open design
Changed the power led from blue to red (Log:http://imgur.com/a/cvyyG)
Sanded, Primed and Painted the case with a black and red theme ( Log: http://imgur.com/a/X6ZjM)
What's Next ?
Well I want to build a custom loop in this case, why ? because I was told it cant be done.
I have done some maths regarding flow rates and heat dissipation from a thicker rad, my conclusion at the moment is that I will go ahead with my plan in a few months.
Only a few things are holding me back at the moment: Time Full cover block for the gtx970 mini
Solid Processor in terms of performance, eats through rendering heavy applications and likes it when i stream CS:GO. 10/10 would buy again
Decent cpu cooler, takes up alot of space with push/pull but the temps are worth the sacrifice. 8/10 would buy again.
It's a motherboard and has all the features you will probably ever need. 10/10 would buy again
RAM IS RAM, apart from the low profile which is a god send in a small case its just another stick of ram. 10/10 would buy again
5 second cold boots, nuff said 10/10 would buy again
stores games and other crap i dont need all the time . 10/10 would buy again
