Gaming and editing; temporary build before changing cases and other parts
Many of these parts live on in the same case now used by a friend
The picture of the FPS on minecraft wasn't necessary. 32gb of ram for editing? for the extra money if went with 16gb, could have gotten something like a 5930k or a 5820k..although not the worst build I've seen all day.
Kinda hard to get a 5820k in 2012 :p
HAHAHAHA I completely just made the biggest mistake ever. WOW. I am so wrong. I take it back about everything. Lol.
**** happens. That also explains the ivy bridge aswell :p
It would have been awesome if the 5930k had existed in December of 2013............... (see build date and title)
Also the ram was purchased in 2012 for like ~$190 before RAM prices went way up so it wasn't much of a factor :P
I hope you liked the build
Yeah, it was great! I think it is a great build, especially for the time built, and blows mine out of the water. Lol.
On PCPartPicker it says you got a black NZXT Phantom? Also, are you gonna upgrade that GPU? And that PSU is WAY overkilll for this build. Either way +1
Haha this build was a mash up of spare parts and it says black because there is no red option for the full tower Phantom on PCP
The system I am running now is i7-4930k/780Ti and one of my friends is using parts from this build.
