Description

This project builds around the beautiful in win 901 case. Cable Management was a bit tough but managed to pull it off all together. Temps are fairly cool considering this case does not have the best design for airflow.

wow that looks so sleek and clean, beautiful build just get a hdd in there...if it can fit.

03SVTCobra 2 points 53 months ago

It'll always fit, you just gotta squeeze it in there ;)

Raphaeldr03 submitter 2 Builds 1 point 53 months ago

Yeah waiting for my WD blue to come in! :D

XIHackInABoxIX 8 Builds 2 points 53 months ago

Beautiful build. +1

How does the H60 CPU coole work? Planing on geting one! -David

Raphaeldr03 submitter 2 Builds 1 point 53 months ago

H60 is a tight fit. I recommend getting an H75. My temps are 30 on idle and around 60 on full load with arctic silver thermal paste.

ThatsPoorlyDrawn 3 Builds 1 point 53 months ago

So, I was thinking of getting it as well...the h75..what size is the radiator compared to the h60?

ThatsPoorlyDrawn 3 Builds 1 point 53 months ago

Completely forgot my original comment, this is a great build. I love the case! It is so beautiful.

Sadda89 1 point 53 months ago

Thanks for the tip!

Raphaeldr03 submitter 2 Builds 1 point 53 months ago

I think its the tubes that are a little skinnier than the h60. But Radiator size are a good fit for both of them

NewBornNoob 1 Build 2 points 53 months ago

Wow that case is... :O +1

the_masater_jt 1 Build 2 points 53 months ago

Really nice looking. +1

mspring 6 Builds 2 points 53 months ago

always liked the apearance of those cases a lot. almost got one but dont think i could fit everything in there. +1 from me. you should check rig out if you get a chance.

Thunderingfear 1 Build 1 point 53 months ago

Sweet build man, I totally envy you for having that case :p

Raphaeldr03 submitter 2 Builds 2 points 53 months ago

Thanks!

Blackie_Sheen 1 Build 1 point 53 months ago

Very sleek and really powerful build. One question: Why did you keep the sticker on the window?

Raphaeldr03 submitter 2 Builds 1 point 53 months ago

I'm still debating whether I should keep it because sometimes I couldn't tell if there is glass between it! lol

BmanUltima 1 Build 1 point 53 months ago

Take it off, but then put some sort of decal design on it. Like this

sajiin 1 point 53 months ago

Awesome build. The only thing that sucks is that the H60 has to mounted so the logo is on it side. Nothing to be done though. Really good looking clean build.

Raphaeldr03 submitter 2 Builds 1 point 53 months ago

Thanks.! It actually fits with the center logo upright but the tubes are pushing my Ram a little on the side. I just didn't want to risk it! lol

MaskedMonster21 1 Build 1 point 53 months ago

+1 Amazing build man! Quick question: how do you like the windforce 970? I've been thinking of getting one... any thoughts? Thanks for the help! -MaskedMonster

Raphaeldr03 submitter 2 Builds 1 point 53 months ago

I only had it for a day but I love it. base boost clock goes up to 1300 mhz! the back plate is also nice since its such a long card. you can hear a little fan noise unlike the MSI twin frozr V which is dead silent but its no big deal.

friskypiro 2 Builds 1 point 53 months ago

Are you planning to overclock it at all or just run it stock? Am really wondering about the 4790. Also how was the Asus interface/board update ? Beautiful case and layout! +1

Raphaeldr03 submitter 2 Builds 1 point 53 months ago

I am planning to overclock down the road. I think 4790 is way to go and ASUS makes it easy to overclock it in bios. Build wise, everything on the board was pretty well laid out and has easy access

Tfarcraw_III 1 Build 1 point 53 months ago

Damn. I can't believe this. That's amazing. +1

Your 5th picture looks creepily similar to my set up D:

Raphaeldr03 submitter 2 Builds 1 point 53 months ago

You have good taste then! :D

skylerman5610 3 Builds 1 point 53 months ago

Ya, nice build though!

koihime44 1 point 53 months ago

This is really nice, dude. Is it a tight fit? What settings can it run your good games on? :)

Raphaeldr03 submitter 2 Builds 1 point 53 months ago

Really tight fit. I think I've used all the free space it had for the amount of stuff I put in it. So far battlefield 4 runs on ultra no prob avg around 77+ fps going to try Far cry 4 real soon and COD

koihime44 1 point 53 months ago

Sweet, I wonder if I should buy the same build. I'm still considering things for my first build.

AceBalthazar 4 Builds 1 point 50 months ago

i have that 970 and with everything fully maxed on Far Cry 4 i get about 45 FPS at 1080, and 65 at 1440x900

oberon13 3 Builds 1 point 53 months ago

How did you mount the h60 to the back plate?

Raphaeldr03 submitter 2 Builds 1 point 53 months ago

the bolts on the back plate are movable to align the holes on the motherboard.

koihime44 1 point 53 months ago

Hey, since you've had some experience with this case, can you tell me if this all will fit inside of it? http://pcpartpicker.com/p/srdDMp

Raphaeldr03 submitter 2 Builds 1 point 53 months ago

Those will fit just fine, except im not sure about the 90mm fan in your list. I Used 92 mm fans inside and the holes just fit perfectly.

TheSkullPwner 1 point 52 months ago

Sorry I'm a bit late to the party, but do you have any problems with the rear IO connectors on your motherboard interfering with the H60 radiator? Or are the connectors slightly to the side of the radiator?

Raphaeldr03 submitter 2 Builds 1 point 49 months ago

Its a bit on the right side so you have space for the IO connectors. except for one USB port lol

jumboworms 1 Build 1 point 51 months ago

Is this psu okay? I don't know whether I should go with the bronze or gold version of this

Raphaeldr03 submitter 2 Builds 1 point 49 months ago

I always have used EVGA. Never had a problem

dj_optic 1 point 50 months ago

How is that PSU thinking of getting one, very nice build overall :D

Raphaeldr03 submitter 2 Builds 1 point 49 months ago

Love the PSU. I always use EVGA since they are reliable. never had a bad one

MuiaxPCs 1 Build 1 point 49 months ago

Great job. Does this case have ribbets or screws? I want to powder coat the allum frame.

Raphaeldr03 submitter 2 Builds 1 point 49 months ago

Yes they have both

CarterWu 1 point 47 months ago

Hey so the windforce is 312mm and the inwin "says" the case supports up to 300mm graphics cards. I'm guessing the case actually has a little extra leeway than what's stated right? I'm planning on getting a graphics card that exceeds 300mm.

Raphaeldr03 submitter 2 Builds 1 point 47 months ago

Yes it will fit but it will be a tight fit. I can barely fit my pinky finger after I installed the G1 card.

Mitchiebear21 1 Build 1 point 45 months ago

Waited a long time to comment on this build because i wanted to see if the PSU was still any good after a couple of months. What's the verdict? Has the EVGA 750 held up??

iamwildbear 0 points 53 months ago

only thing i would disagree about here is the brand of videocard....i HATE the way they look anyway its sexy af +1
