Description

Built this for a friend. his biggest requirement was size, he wanted it to fit on his table and not get in the way. he lives in a small condo. only uses it for web surfing, Youtube and financial software.

He's had it for 2 weeks, and just recieved the BSOD (DRIVER_POWER_STATE_FAILURE). My first thought is the USB 3 drivers, but he also installed a backup drive that isn't listed on the parts list. Could be the 300w power supply not being quite enough. Any thoughts?

Thanks in advance for the constructive critisism.

He's using the onboard graphics on the motherboard.

Could of got the fx 6300 instead of the 6350, its the same cpu but the fx 6350 is just clocked higher, also saves a bit of money :)

Nice build! +1, And, by the way, How well is the psu in that case holding up?

only 2 weeks old... so I'm afraid to say it's doing ok just yet. of all the parts, the PSU is what I'm most nervous about.

I am considering an extremely similar build. Please let us know if you have an update :)

So far so good. PSU is holding up fine. The guy I built it for has no complaints.

I'm looking at using this for a HTPC for my parents. Is the PSU still holding up? Also, who is the manufacturer of the PSU?
