This was my first gaming PC i've made in a long time and it went pretty smoothly. Running most games on Med - High and it just feels fast.

Notes - Spring for a better MOBO if you can afford it, the ram slots are tough on this board and it just feels cheaper. Do not misunderstand its still a usable board but you can tell its cheap.

Mobo, PSU neither had enough power connections to run all the fans that came with the case, I had to buy a 4pin molex to 2x 3pin adapter online.

If you have a larger GPU it will sag a bit on this Mobo although it seem to run fine it does bother me.

I highly recommend USB installer for windows it's so quick and easy!

Part Reviews

Very difficult to seat the ram properly! Larger GPU sags down a bit in the PCI-E slot. Works well of of the box easy to mount.

Great cable management and 2 usb 3.0 on front of case!!! Was a dream to work with this case!

Power Supply

Powering i3 6100 and HIS R9 270x with this.

Great build and blend of parts for the money. Really like the orange case. Just building my first PC after 15 years so great to read your article. Good to see that you've included the Windows licence as it's often excluded.

I've seen it run smoothly on lesser setups so this should be fine.

I've just tested Rise of the Tomb Raider and got 35-45 FPS on stock HIGH settings.
