My old (shelf bought but upgraded by myself over time) Packard Bell A2620 was getting a bit long in the tooth so decided to do a new bottom up, all by myself build, I wanted it to be Intel based, cheap as poss and as future proof as possible. Oh and quiet shhh.
Its used for my small business, bit of light gaming, surfing and everyday stuff.
All of the components were bought over about a 4 month period, as and when I could afford them and not all of them are new, the Video card is off the old PC and is the 2GB version, the Memory is cheap second hand off of Ebay, not cutting edge but it will do for now. Not all of the items on the list are correct as they are not in the PCPartPickers list so I've just picked the nearest part.
The build went well although the coolermaster case is a bit of a pain, but started first time, the only problem I had was I had bought a Danish version of Windows 7 cheap (£38), believing it would be easy to change to English, it wasn't quite as easy as I had thought but got there in the end by fare means or foul as they say.
