Description

EDIT 11/22/16: Got Rid of CRYORIG H7...i think it was defective, I was getting high temps. Ordered a Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO through Amazon Prime Now and got one in 15 minutes delivered to my door. Installed it and now my temps are around 30/60. In the process of overclocking right now I am at 3.4ghz.

This was my first build. I had a i7 870 that had not really been in use (also barely used) so I used it in this build.

I have not checked things completely more to come.

Dang, never heard but I'll check it out. The blue was basically the reason why I named it heisenberg.

Wait, why is this not upvoted more? It's always nice to see an old parts build, and this one doesn't skimp out, either. +1 for Nehalem.

Definitely just you, that case is quite modern. It has 2.5" drive bays, a bottom mounted PSU, and modern aesthetics.

definition of a bottleneck

Damnit I knew it. Oh well what's done is done.

Don't worry, the bottleneck is not likely to be severe. While not ideal, your performance will only be decremented slightly. If you are interested in investigating the effects of the bottleneck, you can use overlay tools in games or benchmarks to observe the usage. If your CPU is consistently at 100% usage and your GPU reports low usage, then the bottleneck is affecting performance. Not all games behave the same way though due to engine differences

Always nice to see an "ASUS blue board" Kudos on the build. Looks like you still have a little bit of cable routing or clean up to do but hopefully everything is up and running smoothly. Best of luck with your build!

Are you experiencing any bottlenecks with that build? I have the same processor and I'm planning on buying the same graphics card.

Yeah I did. I sold this build but I wish I kept it. I think a nvidia 700 or 900 series video card would of made it better.
